Paul cezannes the basket of apples essay

Zola talks about his friendship with Cézanne and tells that, for Cézanne, apples symbolized love and great friendship. Schapiro talks about Cézanne's close relationship to Zola, which was not only a friendship but also part of his own dream of love.
