Introduction to Confucianism Confucianism is a mainly Chinese tradition or way of life propagated by Confucius during the 4th-5th century BCE. Throughout the history of the Chinese lineages, Confucianism changed and adapted itself to new social and political demands.

Confucius was generally referred to as China’s first teacher, who made the standards and values to the Confucianism. During 500 B.C. this great philosopher created the cultural foundation of China. He was also a teacher and attracted lots of student followers.
